5 HIDDEN PLACES in PRAGUE ONLY LOCALS GO TO

Experience cool & local atmosphere at places tourists miss – even though, they are all in the city centre!

  • PAUSETERIA

Recently opened coffee place where you can stop for a drink or something sweet and mostly – to escape the crowds of tourists in Prague.

  • BISTRO NA NOVÉ RADNICI

Just across the street, there is a bistro where you can hop for a lunch, quick bite (we’re suggesting chlebíček) or something sweet. It’s really cheap for the area (4 EUR for a lunch) so don’t forget to tip them well.

Oh, and while you’re at it, make sure not to miss the famous pater noster elevator! The non-stop running elevator is part of the building (it’s actually a Prague’s city hall) and is opened to public so give it a ride 🤩paternoster

  • CD BAZAR KRAKOVSKÁ

Vintage vinyl shop is hidden in the passage Jilská and is extremely lovely. You can get tons of cool CDs, cassettes or vinyl.

  • KAFE DAMU

I just love this place! It’s a coffee place/bar/theatre. Part of the theatre academy of Prague, this is a place where students gather and drink and have fun. You can grab a sandwich on-the-go or experience students play at their theatre or party with them till very late at night.

  • VÝČEP NASTOJÁKA

Probably the smallest pub in Prague. No sitting down („na stojáka“ translates to standing up), great view of Týn church and all in all great experience. You’ll love this one for sure🍻
